Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Your mission
We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer who will take ownership of our company's Microsoft infrastructure. Be part of a dynamic team where no two days are the same.
 
At FISCH, you will be in hands-on position within Investment Services department. You will be part of the team which oversees engineering and operations of user-facing and server infrastructure including endpoint’s software, hardware, and cloud accounts.  

  • Smooth execution and mature IT operations (L1-L2) of user-facing infrastructure
    • Entra (AzureAD)
    • Windows 10 workstations
    • SharePoint / OneDrive
    • Exchange Online
    • Endpoint Manager (Intune)
    • Apple Business Manager
  • Execute ITSM processes such as: helpdesk, hardware and inventory management, software packaging and installation lifecycle. 
  • Responsible for the expansion and further development of the Microsoft Azure Cloud and Office365.
  • Automate solutions using «Infrastructure as Code» methodologies.
  • Engagement in infrastructure incident response and resolution.
  • Solve complex IT problems and be a key player in our technical support team.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering. 
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in end-user infrastructure operations. 
  • Deep experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows based workstations. 
  • Solid experience in automation with PowerShell. 
  • Practical knowledge in infrastructure management relying on DevOps practices (IaaC, CICD, git). 
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible would be an advantage. 
  • Previous experience with Endpoint Manager (Intune) and AzureAD is a must. 
  • Previously completed Azure/Office365 projects will be an advantage. 
  • Strong team spirit and a proactive, independent, solution-oriented, and practical approach to work. 
  • Service oriented mindset with an assertive, flexible, and quality-conscious personality. 
  • Very good English (C1-C2). German will be an advantage.
  • Strong preference for Swiss or EU/EFTA passport/work permit holders.
